Details
The awning is patented, individually hand-crafted, and durable. The framework is constructed out of a durable mill finish aluminum and assembled with stainless steel hardware. The projection arms are a commercial grade iron that is painted in black and has pointed spear-shaped end caps.
The canopy is a Beauty-Mark branded 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric with anti-microbial yarns. Each fabric is treated with resistant coatings that make the fabric water resistant, block harsh UV rays from causing quick fading, and prevent mildew and soil build up. The awning fabric canopy includes a wavy scallop (known as Awntech’s standard Sahara valance) with a braided trim to enhance the front end of the awning.
The New Orleans awning is offered in a wide variety of solid and stripe colors. The awnings material and structure can withstand harsh winds, heavy rain, snow, and is even perfect for high humidity climates. Assembling this fixed awning is simple with our step-by-step manual and can be installed on many different surfaces types such as brick, stucco, wood, stone and other surfaces.

SMALL PARCEL (UPS GROUND/FEDEX GROUND)
- All fixed awnings are required to ship small parcel unless ordered in quantities of 7+ per order. 7+ quantities will be shipped via LTL (less-than-truckload). Please se the delivery tab for additional information on LTL deliveries.
- No signature required – shipment will be left at the recipient’s door.
SINGLE BOX SHIPMENT
- One box per awning.
- All fixed awnings are modular and all pieces ship together in a single box.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES FOR CANADA, HAWAII, ALASKA, AND US TERRITORIES
- Due to an increase in freight charges, customers shipping to any of these locations are required to pay additional shipping/handling charges.
- If the shipping shows “flat rate” at checkout, this means there is additional shipping charges pending. Please contact us with your order information and ship-to address in order to receive an additional quote on shipping charges.
- Canada International: Canadian shipments will also be responsible for Canadian brokerage fees and taxes.
LEAD TIMES
- Off Season (September – March): 1.5 – 2 week delivery on average but not guaranteed

Delivery
TYPE OF DELIVERY: Small Parcel Porch Drop-Off Delivery
- No signature required: The shipment will be left at the recipient’s door.
- Delivery days: Monday through Saturday (delivery hours may vary and are subject to the carrier assigned at the time of shipment). Most carriers are off during major US holidays.
SMALL PARCEL INSPECTIONS FOR DAMAGE
- Inspect the full contents of your awning box for concealed shipping damages within five calendar days of receipt.
- Concealed shipping damages must be reported to warranty@awntech.com.
- Failure to notify Awntech within this timeframe will void warranty replacements resulting from concealed shipping damages.
- Please refer to Awntech’s warranty policy for additional detail.
INSPECTIONS FOR MISSING PARTS
- For missing parts or pieces of the awning received, the customer must notify Awntech within 30 days of receipt. Failure to notify Awntech within the 30-day period will void warranty replacements for missing pieces. It is strongly recommended that customers fully inspect the contents of the package for damaged or missing pieces as soon as the awning is received.

SCHEDULING CONTRACTORS / INSTALLERS
- Carriers can experience delivery delays. Please wait to schedule appointments with your contractor / installer until the item is delivered and fully inspected for damages (see above).
- Note: Contractors / installers are not required for assembly and installation. This product is a Do-It-Yourself product and can be assembled and installed by 2 or more people that are skilled and handy.
Cancellation/Return Policy
You can only return a product without recourse if it is defective upon arrival. If you simply do not like the product, or if you did not measure correctly, you will only be qualified for a merchandise credit and you will be required to pay for shipping the product back to Awntech in re-stock condition. There will be a 25% restock fee applicable once your goods have shipped. Customers have up to 30 days from delivery to return their product, otherwise they will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. Customized awnings (dimensions outside of Awntech’s standard offerings) and fixed awnings over 10ft wide cannot be returned and will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein.
Customers have 24 hours after placing their order to request an order cancellation, otherwise a 10% order cancellation fee will be applied. As stated in our return policy, if the order is cancelled after the order has shipped, a 25% restock fee will be applied.
